    I thought FL saved Xiao chi? In a flash back ML said he saw FL rescue his nephew. I wonder if the mom/SIL ended up drugging her own husband or if he was the brother than dragged the thick blankets over.

      I'm a bit confused about your question. The FL saved Xiao Chi, while she was searching for a way to escape from the fire, she came across the ML and now Ting Yuan is carrying both of them. Xiao Chi's mother didn't drug anyone, she only put sleeping pills in the drink of the ML. Plus, Xiao Chi's mother mistook Yueyue for her son because Yueyue was sleeping in Xiao Chi's bedroom.

      By drug I meant the sleeping pills. I thought in the flashback that they showed FL walking with Xiao Chi to the outside, that's why I was confused to see this scene where ML was with them both as I recalled the flashback was from his perspective. I was curious if she killed her own husband because I was wondering if maybe he died in the fire and that's why she's always blaming ML. I guess only time will tell on how the father died

      Really? Most artists tend to forget the details or what they drew in previous chapters. Maybe in a future chapter they’ll explain how the father died, but I don’t think he died from the fire since no one will believe her, given that the ML is young and he saved both kids from the fire.
